Archery Qualification

The Archery Hunt Program Qualifications Dates are as follows:

Saturday, May 5th       8:00 a.m. to noon
Tuesday, May 8th        8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 10th     12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m.

These qualifications will take place at the Kishwaukee Valley Conservation Area – 9416 US Route 20, Garden Prairie, Illinois

Note:   There are no make-up dates or additional qualification dates scheduled at this time

Audit Report Available


Boone County Conservation District hereby provides public notice that an audit of its funds for the period April 1, 1016 through March 31, 2017 has been made by WIPFLi cpas and Consultants, 328 W. Stephenson, Freeport, IL 61032, and that a report of such audit dated March 31, 2017 has been filed with the County Clerk of Boone County, Illinois, in accordance with 30 ILCS 15/0.01 et seq. The full report of the audit is available for public inspection at 603 N. Appleton Road, Belvidere, Illinois during regular business hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday except for holidays.


Holiday Hours

The Conservation District office will be closed on November 23, November 24, December 22 and the week of December 25 through January 1. We will reopen for business on January 2.

East County Line Conservation Area Dedication – August 26th at 1:00 pm

Please join us for the dedication of the East County Line Conservation Area to public use. There will be a short program, light refreshments and then, following the dedication, we plan to paddle the Kishwaukee River.
