Audit Report Available


Boone County Conservation District hereby provides public notice that an audit of its funds for the period April 1, 1016 through March 31, 2017 has been made by WIPFLi cpas and Consultants, 328 W. Stephenson, Freeport, IL 61032, and that a report of such audit dated March 31, 2017 has been filed with the County Clerk of Boone County, Illinois, in accordance with 30 ILCS 15/0.01 et seq. The full report of the audit is available for public inspection at 603 N. Appleton Road, Belvidere, Illinois during regular business hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday except for holidays.

The Conservation District office will be closed on November 23, November 24, December 22 and the week of December 25 through January 1. We will reopen for business on January 2.

Conservation Area Closures

The following sites are closed November 3rd – 5th for hunting:
Kinnikinnick Creek, Picasaw Fen, East County Line, Kishwaukee Valley.

The following sites are closing for the season on November 15th:
Kinnikinnick Creek, Picasaw Fen, East County Line, Kishwaukee Valley, O.O. Stimes, Tuttle Clarkson, Edwards, APF County Line Parking Lot

The following sites are closed for hunting:

Beaver Bluffs (dog park is open), LIB, Ipsen Road/Newburg Village, Distillery Road

Closed November 3, 4, & 5th for hunting
Closed December 8, 9 & 10th for hunting
Closed December 22, 23, & 24th for hunting
Closed January 12, 13, & 14th for hunting
