Have you gone geocaching before? 🔍 We’re excited to see that Boone County Conservation District will have geocaching available in its parks again this summer!Gus’s geo-trail is accessible again for those who didn’t get to it or finish last season. There are 9 caches throughout 7 total conservation areas. Each of the caches on this trail contain a letter, which, when put together with the other letters and unscrambled create a code-word. Those that are able to identify the code-word are encouraged to visit the BCCD nature center and receive a reward for completing the trail.Download the geocaching app from www.geocaching.com and search for caches in Boone County, IL. You will find each of these caches listed as a “BCCD Geo-Trail Cache” Happy Hunting! #gusthegeosnake...#wildlife #nature #geocaching #wildlifeconservation #photography #environment #biodiversity #wild #naturelovers #outdoors #natgeo #education #bccd #adventure #conservation #savetheplanet #biology #ecofriendly #boonecounty #illinois #wegetkidsoutside #getoutside #conservationinaction #boonecountyconservationdistrict ...
