Tuttle Clarkson Natural Area

::Getting There
7300 Rt. 173 – Poplar Grove, IL 61065
28.63 acres.
::Natural Considerations
This 28.63 acre area is unique for many reasons. First of all, the land has never been plowed, leaving the landscape much as it was when the first settlers arrived 150 years ago. Also, this small plot of land has several different habitats. There is a prairie, oak savanna, a stream, and a special class of wetland called a fen, which contains species found in a sedge meadow.
