• Reservations are made on a first come, first served, basis beginning January 1st of each year for the time period April (weather permitting) thru October.
  • All shelter reservations require a deposit. This deposit is refunded if the shelter area is left in a clean and usable condition.
  • Deposits are not refunded for cancellations.
  • Reservation fees are not refunded for any cancellation within seven days of event. 
  • Shelters may be reserved for use ONLY during PARK HOURS: 1/2 hour before sunrise – 1/2 hour after sunset
  • Shelter users are not to remove tables from the shelters.
  • The BCCD does not move additional tables to shelters, no exceptions.
  • Insecticide Usage is NOT permitted at ANY shelter.
  • All shelters have access to outdoor restrooms (pit toilet or porta-potty).
  • There is no potable water at any of the shelters (with the exception of Milt Brown).
  • Special Events must be APPROVED before a reservation is made. (See below for link to policy and application.)
  • WEDDINGS are considered special events and require a special event permit(Please request at least 30 days in advance.)

SPECIAL EVENTS

$200 fee due upon approval, plus a $20 non-refundable application fee ($220 total)

OTHER USER FEES

  • Ground Use Permit, for tent, tarp, porta potty – $20
  • Vendor/Concession Permit, for food, beverages, other – $10 per vendor
  • Rides/Amusements Permit, bouncy house, etc. (very limited) – $30 plus proof of insurance
  • No Insecticide Usage at ANY site.

Any COVID-19 restrictions in place for Region 1 must be followed.

  • ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES PERMITTED AT ANY TIME.
  • All firewood or charcoal must be supplied by visitor, under no circumstances is wood to be taken from District land.
  • Open fires, bonfires, campfires are not permitted.
  • Music must not disturb other site users.
  • Any decorations must be completely removed, including any and ALL tape, string, etc. Use of nails and/or staples is NOT permitted.
  • Upon completion of activities, the area must be thoroughly clean to reclaim your deposit, including any confetti.
  • All activities are subject to District Rules & Regulations unless otherwise stated in this Permit.
  • Failure to comply with these statements may result in immediate expulsion from the site.
